Stefanie Gorendar is a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Life Coach who specializes in Performance, Motivation & Success. She holds a Specialized Honors BA degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and is an Erickson Certified Life Coach. She has also received specialty training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety Disorders and other mental health challenges at The University of Toronto and has received certified training for crisis intervention counselling for suicide ideation.
In private practice, Stefanie works with a diverse group of clients ranging from those with mental health challenges to individuals and businesses who are striving for growth and success. Stefanie also holds her real estate license in the province of Ontario and works with real estate practitioners to build confidence and achieve success in the field through coaching techniques. Additionally, Stefanie has extensive experience in the dental field and has provided consultation and coaching for dental professionals. Stefanie is passionate about training, supervision, coaching, networking and animal rights activism, and believes that anyone can reach their own highest level of potential and the ability to reach any defined goal with the right strategies, motivation, persistence and accountability for one's actions.
Stefanie is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), licensed with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), and an associate member of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.
Stefanie practices psychotherapy, counselling, and coaching in her private practice in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, and also provides psychotherapy, counselling, and coaching services via telephone or skype. Stefanie's in-office services extend to residents of Toronto, Thornhill, North York, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Etobicoke, Oak Ridges, Bradford, Stouffville, Kleinburg, Woodbridge, Concord and Maple.
